My C: partition was 250gb and it was roughly 45% full and the result was a Windows7.vhdx file of roughly 100 GB in size. Ideally, you would want back this up on another drive (so the backup process is quicker since one drive just reads, while other one is just writing). It’s a free tool and all I needed to do is just pick partitions I want to backup and tell it where to back that up. ![]() For this purpose I used Disk2vhd tool made by Microsoft. Making the virtual machine out of my Windows 7 PCįirst step was to make a bootable copy of my computer’s hard drive partitions. Along with some hardware upgrades that my computer needed, I also wanted to move to the Windows 10 since the support and updates for Windows 7 will be discontinued on January 14th 2020.Īlso, my 10 year old Windows 7 PC had a lot of settings and pieces of data that I didn’t want to give up that easily, so I got an idea to make a copy of the current Windows 7 as a virtual machine, so in case I need anything I could just boot the virtual machine and within seconds go back to my Windows 7 setup with all access all data and settings. So you probably thought, I’m just going to replace all mysql_ functions with mysqli_ and it’s done. The PDO supports many different databases while MySQLi supports only MySQL. The new PHP 7 comes with two database drivers: MySQLi and PDO. Many of you have run into a problem when you were working on some old legacy php script that you wanted to adapt to PHP 7 where mysql_ functions no longer work (since they are deprecated). I even created a new account on my computer and on that account the search was working fine and was already looking for an easy way how to move all my data from one account to another when I found this fix that actually works! Continue Reading → The mysql_result in mysqli I couldn’t even start the calculator typing calc in the search! Windows 10 search not workingĪfter spending more than two hours trying just about any fix I have found online and numerous reboots nothing seemed to work. No matter what I would type in the search the results will not show. Hope that helps.Since this morning ( Feb 5th 2020) search just stopped working on my Windows 10 (version 1903). This did not delete any of my other photos or my albums. This should get rid of the ghost photos as well as not show any that you left in Picasa but don't want to delete. Click 'CLEAR DATA' and then 'CLEAR CACHE'. Once that is open, you have options to 'FORCE STOP', 'CLEAR DATA', 'CLEAR CACHE', and 'CLEAR DEFAULTS'. The top tool bar scrolls-move that to 'ALL' and find Gallery (alphabetical order). Somewhere in there, there should be an 'applications manager' button. Now, go to your main phone settings (should look like a gear). That should take you to the screen where you can select what you want to auto sync. Go to your gallery, select your menu button (three vertical dots at the top left) and select settings from the drop down list. ![]() To do that, you follow the advice that has been given. Now this won't get rid of them from your phone unless you download the newest version of the ap (which I didn't want to do). ![]() home ->Login with gmail (or google+)->Delete photos You might find a better way, but I did not. Took me about an hour to delete about 150 albums. This is an issue because to delete the album, you have to open the album. This means that every time you added pictures you've got an album in Picasa waiting for you. I will warn you, it is a giant pain because every time it sync'd (daily for me) it created a new album. From there you can actually delete (or do other things with if this is something you'd like to keep) your photos. Go to /home and login using your google email. Anyhow, one of the users way back on the first page actually shared the most useful piece on here, and that's how to get to the actual Picasa site and delete photos WITHOUT having to completely redo your email account and google login, thus forcing you to redo settings. Not sure about the rest of you, but I don't like the idea of my photos just sitting out somewhere where I have no control over them. Most of the advice on here only 'hides' the Picasa album from you, but does not delete the photos entirely, and that was simply not acceptable to me. I just got around to doing this, though it's been a problem for quite some time. ![]()
